The Ash Longpi Pottery Vase has been carefully, traditionally handcrafted by the young tribal artisans of Manipur, India.

The natural, earthy look is achieved by crushing weathered rock and serpentinite clay together before being hand shaped and etched with the help of a bamboo blade. The pottery is removed from the kiln just before the temperature falls to be covered with leaves, known as chilon-na, so the smoke from the leaves may breath in a deeper, more dramatic ash black shade to the pottery.

Led free and while dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing with care to avoid surface wear and tear.
